Wet sand creates powerful suction that can put huge stress on your scoop. To avoid breakage:

• Don’t lever it upward or use full body weight

• Avoid prying material with the tip

• Rock gently side-to-side to break suction, then lift vertically

Using the right technique dramatically reduces stress on welds and supports.

• Rinse thoroughly after each use, especially around welds

• Use warm soapy water to remove salt and sand

• Dry before storing and avoid long-term exposure to heat or moisture
