BUILT STRONGER AFTER REAL-WORLD FEEDBACK

The VortexPro has been substantially reworked for greater strength, durability, and long-term reliability in real prospecting conditions.
Now made from Heavy Duty ASA, the updated VortexPro is better suited to demanding outdoor use, prolonged UV and water exposure. We’ve also reinforced the base to better support the weight of material and water, while built-in leg slots, solid sliding legs, and custom levelling adjusters improve stability, reduce flex, and create better hose clearance. The resin-secured ball valve provides a stronger, more leak-resistant connection.
The outcome is a tougher, more dependable VortexPro built to handle wet concentrates, repeated setup, and real-world prospecting use.

MICRO-GOLD RECOVERY OPTIMISED

The VortexPro’s base features 24 precision-engineered step-rings that create controlled friction along the bowl floor. As water spirals inward, these micro steps interrupt the gold’s momentum and make it progressively harder for fine gold to climb toward the centre cone. The result? More fine gold stays where it belongs—at the bottom.

CRANK THE FLOW WITHOUT THE CHAOS

We’ve increased usable water flow capacity by 68% by extending the height of the bowl’s walls. This added vertical space allows for more aggressive flow and greater vortex pressure without spilling over—perfect for faster processing, improved handling of coarser concentrates, and higher throughput without sacrificing the control needed for finer gold.

PLUG-AND-PLAY PLUMBING THAT JUST WORKS

The VortexPro now uses a resin-secured ball valve inlet for a stronger, more reliable, and more leak-resistant connection. Instead of relying on a printed thread or built-in nozzle, the inlet is securely resin-set into the bowl to help reduce stress during setup, use, and transport. All plumbing components come pre-installed and ready to go. Simply connect a standard garden hose with a 16mm female connector, or pair it with the optional pump and hose kit for a complete recirculating plug-and-play setup.

ROCK-SOLID STABILITY ANYWHERE

The VortexPro features an overhauled leg system designed for improved stability, adjustability, and ease of setup. A guided rail system allows each leg to slide in or out to suit nearly all 10L to 20L bucket diameter sizes. Every unit includes a custom levelling kit for quick, accurate setup, plus disc clamps that help lock the bowl securely into position. Once set, the VortexPro stays stable and level during use—no more wobbles, no more tipping, just a more controlled and dependable recovery setup wherever you use it.

NO MORE OVERFLOWING

The redesigned top rim features a 25mm vertical wall and an inner lip that work together to catch surging water and redirect it back toward the centre. At extreme flow levels, this controlled overflow management helps increase outflow capacity and reduce splash, allowing you to push the limits without losing gold—or your temper.

REFINED THROUGH COUNTLESS R&D

The VortexPro has been shaped by over a year of development, testing, and real-world use. From the wall angle and cone shape to the base texture, leg system, inlet setup, and overall usability, each major feature has been reviewed and refined to create a smoother, more controlled recovery experience. The result is a bowl that keeps the proven principles of centrifugal gold recovery while improving flow control, fine gold visibility, setup, and day-to-day usability for modern prospectors.

PRINTED WITH PRECISION

Every VortexPro is manufactured in-house using a commercial 3D printing production setup, giving us full control over material choice, print settings, fit, finish, and final quality. The VortexPro is not injection moulded — it is a purpose-built ASA printed product, chosen for its UV resistance, water resistance, impact resistance, and ability to be manufactured locally with precision. Like any rigid plastic product, it should still be treated with care, but it’s built for real prospecting use, wet concentrates, outdoor conditions, and repeated bucket setup.

Care Instructions

To keep your VortexPro performing at its best:

  • Storage & Handling
The Blue Bowl VortexPro is designed for wet operation over a bucket or catch tub. Following use, residual moisture may remain within internal cavities and drainage areas of the unit. For this reason, store the bowl over a bucket, sink, tray or other suitable surface until fully dry. Residual moisture retained after use does not affect the VortexPro's ability to operate correctly or recover fine gold.
  • Avoid forcing or modifying the inlet assembly.
The ball valve is resin-secured into the bowl for a strong, leak-resistant fit. Do not twist, remove, overtighten, or modify this area, as it may damage the sealed connection.
  • Store it out of extreme heat when possible.
The VortexPro is printed from ASA, which is well suited to outdoor use, UV exposure, and typical Aussie conditions. However, like most plastic products, long-term exposure to extreme heat — such as inside sealed vehicles or hot sheds — may shorten its lifespan. Store in a shaded, well-ventilated area when possible.
  • Empty after use.
Do not leave water sitting in the bowl long-term. It's best to empty it after each session and allow excess water to drain and to dry before storage.
  • Wipe down before long-term storage.
A quick wipe with a towel or rag helps keep the bowl clean, dry, and ready for the next session.
  • Handle with care.
The VortexPro is built for real prospecting use, but like any precision plastic product, it should be protected from heavy impacts, crushing loads and rough transport.
  • Layer line note:
As with any 3D-printed product, small visible layer lines or minor cosmetic variations may be present. These are normal and do not affect performance. If a small outer strand or edge appears, it can be carefully trimmed or left as-is.
